UCMH proudly welcomes Dr. Thomas R. Johnson, Board Certified Oncologist/Hematologist and the staff of Cancer Outreach.
Dr. Johnson is a graduate of the New York School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Florida and his fellowship at Johns Hopkins Oncology Center and the University of Florida.
Cancer Outreach offers a Comprehensive Cancer Care Program that is unsurpassed in our community. In addition to on-site pharmacy and lab services, they offer a progressive Clinical Trials program with affiliations with the MD Anderson Cancer Center Network as well as the National Cancer Institute Expanded Participation Program. They currently have over 60 active trials and over 300 participants with at least one trial available for each major type of cancer. In addition, the Cancer Outreach Foundation, an independent (501) (3) (c) non-profit charitable organization, also provides a mechanism of financial and emotional support to patients and their families by offering counseling services, drug assistance and a variety of other resources.
