Unicoi County Occupational Health provides a comprehensive program to all area employers. Our staff is committed to providing quality care to your employees while reducing employer cost and lost time productivity.
We have a dedicated, full time program aimed at better communication with employers regarding their needs while providing the injured worker comprehensive care.

Cedric Fernando, M.D. FAAFP Medical Director Certified MRO

Dr. Fernando is a Board Certified Family Physician and Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He is also certified as a Medical Review Officer (MRO), which is a qualification required to perform all aspects of work place drug testing.

He has extensive experience in Occupational Medicine including management of Workman’s Compensation injuries and work related health issues. He serves as the company physician for many local industries.

Dr. Fernando has practiced medicine in Unicoi County for the past 18 years. He is on the faculty at East Tennessee State University Quillen College of Medicine as an Assistant Clinical Professor of the Department of Family Medicine.
