Unicoi County Home Health (UCHH) is dedicated to excellence in home health care in Unicoi County.Unicoi County Home Health is a small home town agency, owned and operated by Unicoi County Memorial Hospital, Inc. which prides itself in taking care and meeting the home health care needs of the citizens of Unicoi County. Unicoi County Home Health is accrediated by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), licensed by the State of Tennessee Department of Health and Medicare certified. Unicoi County Home Health excepts Medicare and Private Insurances including BC/BS, Workman's Comp, John Deere, Cariten and United Health Care , Unicoi County Home health does not accept Medicaid patients. Unicoi County Home Health offers professionally trained staff with a full range of services which include Skilled Nursing, Home Health Aides, Medical Social Services, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy.

Unicoi County Home Health also provides private pay services for patients that desire home health services not covered by their insurance. Private pay services includes but not limited to, Skilled Nursing for assessments, lab work, medication teaching, wound care, Home Health Aides for activities of Daily living (ADL's) and all aspects related to quality personal care and grooming. Unicoi County Home health does not provide private duty services.

In August 2004 Unicoi County Home Health received a certificate of improvement from Q-Source, the Center for Health Care Quality. Unicoi County Home Health was recognized for achieving statistically significant improvement in target outcomes for dyspnea. The award was presented to Unicoi County Home Health in Knoxville, TN at the regional Q-Source meeting.
